TRAVEL VACCINES

Vaccines for international travel

Commonly requested for international destinations. Availability varies — call ahead and we'll confirm what's in stock or order it for you.

Before most international trips

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Typhoid
  • Tdap / Td — tetanus protection is easy to let lapse
  • MMR — measles outbreaks continue in many destinations
  • Influenza and COVID-19 — flu seasons differ by hemisphere
  • RSV — for eligible adults
PLAN AHEAD

Four to six weeks before departure is ideal

Some vaccines need multiple doses spread over weeks, and immunity takes time to build. Leaving sooner? Come in anyway — partial protection beats none, and we'll tell you honestly what's still worth doing in the time you have.

GOOD TO KNOW

What we can and can't do

Prescriptions come from your prescriber

We dispense and immunize within California pharmacy law. We don't prescribe travel medications — bring a prescription from your physician or a travel clinic and we'll fill it when appropriate and available.

Yellow fever

Yellow fever vaccination requires designation as a registered vaccination center. We are not listing that designation here — please call to ask about your specific requirement and we'll point you in the right direction.
